Study of Radiative Leptonic D Meson Decays
We study the radiative leptonic D meson decays of D (s) → lνlγ (l = e, μ, τ), D → νν̄γ and D → llγ (l = e, μ) within the light front quark model. In the standard model, we find that the decay branching ratios of D (s) → eνeγ, D (s) → μνμγ and D (s) → τντγ are 6.9× 10 (7.7× 10), 2.5× 10 (2.6× 10), and 6.0× 10 (3.2× 10), and that of D → llγ (l = e, μ) and D → νν̄γ are 6.3× 10 and 2.7× 10, respectiv...
متن کاملRadiative Leptonic Decays of B c Meson
To the leading order, the radiative leptonic decays Bc → γlν̄ ( l = e, μ ) are studied carefully. In the study, a non-relativistic constituent quark model and the effective Lagrangian for the heavy flavour decays are used. As a result, the branching ratios turn out to be of the orders of 10 for Bc → γμν̄ or for Bc → γeν̄. Based on the study, we point out the decays being accessible experimentally ...
متن کاملRadiative and Leptonic B-meson Decays from the B-factories
Radiative penguin decays of B-mesons, in which a b quark transitions to an s or d quark accompanied by either a photon or a pair of charged leptons (Fig. 1), are a sensitive probe of New Physics (NP) beyond the Standard Model (SM). These flavour changing neutral current decays are forbidden at tree level in the SM and hence strongly suppressed. In many NP scenarios these decays appear at the on...
متن کاملPhenomenology of a leptonic goldstino and invisible Higgs boson decays
Non-linearly realized supersymmetry, combined with the Standard Model field content and SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1) gauge invariance, permits local dimension-six operators involving a goldstino, a lepton doublet and a Higgs doublet. These interactions preserve total lepton number if the left-handed goldstino transforms as an antilepton. We discuss the resulting phenomenology, in the simple limit where...
متن کاملNon-leptonic Decays of Beauty Hadrons – from Phenomenology to Theory
In the last few years considerable progress has been achieved in our understanding of the decays of heavy flavour hadrons. One can now calculate inclusive transition rates in QCD proper through an expansion in inverse powers of the heavy flavour quark mass without recourse to phenomenological assumptions. The non-perturbative contributions are treated systematically in this way; they are found ...
